The holiday season is just around the corner, and with it comes an increased flight activity to airports close to ski resorts such as Samedan (LSZS).
If your pilots’ last landing into Samedan was more than 24 months ago, they need to fly there in fair weather conditions or fly with a Samedan-current pilot as safety pilot.

Did you know that certain pilots of Ingold Aviation are certified Type Rating Instructors (TRI) for all Falcon 2000EX EASy models?

In this function, they can conduct base trainings for obtaining an EASA type rating. Such a base training encompasses either four or six landings, of which one must be a full-stop landing – depending on experience of the candidate.

A TRI is also required if you want to conduct an Operator Proficiency or License Proficiency Check (OPC or LPC) on the aircraft, if the Type Rating Examiner is not part of the acting flight crew. OPCs or LPCs on the aircraft is becoming more important, since restrictions around the world render travelling to a simulator center almost impossible.
